We hope that your summers have been as relaxing and/or as productive as you intended them to be. The new semester is upon us, and the department together with GRASP invite you to a get-together to meet our new graduate students and instructors:

Cielito Lindo Restaurant in downtown Lawrence (815 New Hampshire Street)
Tuesday, August 18
5:00 p.m.

This year there will not be a sponsored lunch prior the mandatory meeting earlier in the day, and we thought that this would be a nice way for you to interact with your new colleagues before the beginning-of-semester rush. Faculty is also being invited to join us. The Department will provide appetizers, and you are welcome to purchase the beverages of your choice.
